Anti-Harassment & Anti-Discrimination Policy

  1. Policy Statement

Rewardrite Limited is committed to maintaining a workplace that is free from all forms of harassment, discrimination, and victimisation. We believe every individual has the right to be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect. Harassment or discrimination of any kind—whether based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, or any other protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010—will not be tolerated.

As a Professional Employer Organisation, we uphold these standards not only for our internal employees but also for all personnel provided to client organisations and partners.

  1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all employees, contractors, and workers under Rewardrite Limited are protected from unlawful discrimination or harassment in the workplace and during the course of their duties. The policy aims to foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and accountability.

  1. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, temporary workers, consultants, contractors, agency staff, and job applicants. It applies during work-related events, including business trips, training sessions, work-related social functions, and interactions with clients or third parties.

  1. Definitions

Discrimination is treating someone less favourably because of a protected characteristic (e.g., age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy or maternity, marriage or civil partnership). It can be direct or indirect.

Harassment is unwanted conduct related to a protected characteristic that has the purpose or effect of violating a person’s dignity or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, or offensive environment.

Sexual Harassment includes unwelcome sexual advances, inappropriate touching, suggestive comments, or other conduct of a sexual nature.

Victimisation occurs when someone is treated badly because they made or supported a complaint under this policy.

  1. Expectations and Responsibilities

All employees and personnel are expected to:

  • Treat others with dignity and respect at all times.
  • Refrain from engaging in any form of harassment or discriminatory behaviour.
  • Report any incidents of harassment, discrimination, or victimisation they witness or experience.

Managers and supervisors are responsible for:

  • Promoting a respectful, inclusive workplace.
  • Addressing inappropriate behaviour immediately.
  • Taking all complaints seriously and ensuring proper procedures are followed.
  1. Reporting and Complaints

Individuals who experience or witness harassment or discrimination are encouraged to report it promptly to their line manager or the HR department. All complaints will be handled confidentially and investigated in a timely and impartial manner.

Anonymous reports may be considered depending on the circumstances and available evidence. Retaliation against anyone making a complaint or assisting in an investigation is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.

  1. Investigation and Disciplinary Action

Upon receiving a complaint, Rewardrite Limited will initiate an investigation which may include interviews, documentation review, and a formal hearing if necessary. If a breach of this policy is established, disciplinary measures may range from a warning to dismissal, depending on the severity of the offence.

Where client staff or third parties are involved, the company will liaise with the appropriate party to ensure the issue is addressed and that personnel under our care are protected.

  1. Training and Awareness

Regular training on anti-harassment and anti-discrimination will be provided to all staff. Managers will receive additional training on how to handle complaints and foster a respectful work environment.

  1. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually, or sooner if there is a change in legislation, best practice, or in response to an incident or investigation.
